This campground is just 5 miles NW of Durango. This is a near the Log Chutes Trail System. The campsite has 44 campsites, 29 sites that can be reserved and 14 sites with electrical hook-ups. Junction Creek Campground also has one group campsite accommodating up to 50 people. The day-use loop has one group picnic site that can accommodate 65 people and includes a pavilion, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, and electrical hookups. This group day use area is reservable. There is also one family picnic site available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can fish in Junction Creek.
