Tuesday, July 19th 6-8pm – Featuring: Black Velvet
Nina Sasaki and Larry Carver have been performing together full time as the core duo of Black Velvet since 2009. They play 75-80 shows a year at venues throughout southwest Colorado and northern New Mexico, and are often joined at the larger venues by backing musicians to play as a trio or full band. Their sound blends Nina’s velvety smooth vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar with Larry’s melodic and passionate electric lead guitar work, and covers a wide range of rock, blues, jazz and country.
Tuesday, July 26th 6-8pm – Featuring: Kirk James A blues performer for over 20 years, Kirk is known for his strong blues guitar style and distinctive vocals. James plays both original material and also classics from the Blues Masters! He is a local favorite.
Thursday, August 4th 6-8pm – Featuring: Maddy & Kev A singer/songwriter duo from Mancos, Colorado. Their music is a sweet and savory cuisine you must taste for yourself. As individuals, Maddy and Kev have always had a love for music and together they bring years of performance experience and collaboration to offer harmony with their voices and instruments alike.
Thursday, August 11th 6-8pm – Featuring: The Badly Bent High Energy Traditional Bluegrass. The Badly Bent has been entrenched in the bluegrass music scene since 1998. Based in Durango, Colorado, The Badly Bent has proven its musicianship through the winning of prestigious music competitions and receiving accolades from many of its peers in the bluegrass industry. Their emotion and love for bluegrass is contagious with the audience — everyone has a good time!
Thursday, August 18th 6-8pm – Featuring: Dave Mensch Dave’s sound echoes influences of Dave Matthews, Staind, Matchbox Twenty, Bob Schneider and Daughtry, while his inspiration comes from the singers and songwriters of today and generations past. A real local and Three Springs favorite!
Thursday, August 25th 6-8pm – Featuring: Lawn Chair Kings Lawn Chair Kings have been on the Durango, CO music scene since 2000. They have celebrated a “western garage” flavor, with country, rock, pop, and punk influences. Known for their catchy tunes and good-time performances, Lawn Chair Kings have been a steady force in the Four Corners Region.
