A bluegrass alliance born in 2017 in the shadows of the San Juans, Durango’s own High Country Hustle brings big smiles and foot-stomping good times to venues across the Rocky Mountains and beyond. The band is composed of four musicians of diverse musical backgrounds who formed friendships over bluegrass, beers, and the beauty of Southwest Colorado. United in their love of traditional Bluegrass and Modern Jam music, they started a band. Developing originals over time, the group decided to record a record and released their first album on August 30th 2019. Playing creative originals and diverse covers in a new grass style, HCH blends their unique musical personalities with dynamic, melody driven bluegrass to create a memorable and authentic concert experience. In the past few years HCH has gone from playing small bar settings to packed out crowds in Denver and Boulder at venues like Cervantes, The Mishawaka, The Fox Theatre. In early 2020 HCH was the WinterWonderGrass – Band Contest Winner.
